Started house hunting

I can't really remember when and how it all started (the huge fight between my brother and dad, and my mum, Ed and me) but today it blew up again! Just before we were going to leave to view some homes, Gavin (after today I refuse to call him bro) and the old man asked for a meeting… came to be a big issue…..as usual old man took the young bastard's side….

Whatever…. We will be out of their lives soon enough.

Went to see 2 houses today and I liked one of it…but I don’t want to rush. Came home and had to rush to my first photography lesson with Todd Beltz.

Met Todd at Coffee Bean and he showed me and explained the basic functions of my camera that I didn't even know about! Very interesting and very informative.

While I was having my lessons, Ed took the kids to Toys R Us.

Anyway, glad we made it home in time because it started raining heavily. However, when the rain stopped, I looked out my window and practiced what Todd had taught me this afternoon. I also gained a little more courage at experimenting with my cam.

I took the first pic and sent it to Todd and he said it was a bit too orange so I tried again and got a perfect shot! I'm so happy!!!

The tooth fairy is now broke

Lani came home from school and she had pulled out another wobbly tooth! Again she did it herself! I swear she's got more guts than me!

Nevertheless, the tooth fairy is now officially broke! Haha. Two teeth in 2 days at ten bucks a pop!!! Steep!

Happy Birthday Logan

My son Logan turns 4 today. How time flies…I remember when he was just a little snot.

Nevertheless, our first stop today was to Peninsula Plaza to buy him a new pair of soccer boots for his birthday.

Then off to Toys R Us. Spent about 2 hours walking around there and two hundred over dollars later, the kids came out contented and satisfied with what they had picked out.

Back home, the kids played with their new toys for a bit which gave us some time to rest before continuing the day…and finally off to my granny’s for pizza and cake….

New Cream

Took the day off and brought Logan for his doctor's appointment at the skin centre.

Doctor recommended a new cream for Logan and told us it was 'a little more' expensive than the one he is using now (which I am paying $15 a tube)...so I am thinking maybe it's like $20 a tube for the new cream...

I almost died when I realized it was $52 a tube!! Ha! Rip offs!! It's really not the money because I would pay any price to make my little man's life easier. But the fact that the doctor couldn't give us a sample to try first....that I am not too happy...

Because what did I find out? That he is allergic to it anyway! Tried it for the first time tonight and he didn't take to it well!! So goodbye $52!

Happy New Year!

I am not making any new year resolutions this year because it's a waste of time as I don't keep to it anyway.

Nevertheless, Happy New Year everyone! Wishing everyone a great 2011!!

Over to the news in the good ole USA...New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys performed at Dick Clark's Rocking New Year's Eve Party this year!! Wish I could have watched it LIVE but thanks to YouTube...even though not LIVE...at least I didn't miss the performance and what a great one it was!!
