Happy Birthday Princess

My baby girl turns 8 today…look at how grown up she looks here…


After lunch we went down to Basement 2 of 313 Orchard and over to Icing House. There, the kids decorated their own cakes. They had fun and we simply enjoyed watching them have fun!! They looked like pros actually! I guess because their interest in cake decorating is there as they will watch all kinds of videos on cake decorating on YouTube.


Then off to Toys R Us we go for a shopping spree.

We had Dominos Pizza for dinner. Cut the cake their decorated and Lani's surprise birthday cake from Aunty Leena. A Justin Bieber cake!

The big day

We paid the seller the first 1K deposit the other day and today we gave another 4K.. and it’s a big deal coz we signed the papers today and got to spend more time looking through our new house. We are indeed very excited. Now it's just a matter of 3 more months and we will be homeowners!

Can't wait to get out…living with the old man and the young bastard is like living in a military camp. It never was like this before till his slut of a wife (oh I mean girlfriend) came back in to the picture and the old man being the way he is and always taking the sides of his sons...Can you believe the young fuck asked for his stuff back? Stuff we have actually paid for or made in exchange with his requests in the past. Of course he doesn't remember any of that conveniently. So he got his stuff back... Since he's desperate to have them so he can sell them. I can buy new ones because I'm not cheap like him.

To think I hated Japanese food before

Work was busy as usual but nothing out of the ordinary. Best part about the work day was the fact I treated myself and joined the rest of the team members at the new Japanese restaurant on Tanjong Pagar Road. It's called Meii Sushi. And for $15 before GST, I had a bowl of Salmon Don...its a dish of sticky rice and raw salmon. There was even a starter salad and a nice clam soup! Lovely!! Best of all, the company was awesome!

We have decided

Today evening we took a taxi over to the neighbourhood we are planning to buy the house at. My mum didn’t join us as she had plans of her own. We stopped by the block of flats we were going to purchase the house at and went upstairs hoping the owner would be home so we could see the place one more time... But the door was locked. Oh well... I still have a good feeling about it and I know I want it.

So we walked around the estate to find our way around and mostly to also time how long a walk it would be from the house to the MRT station. We found the playground which was huge and right below our block...and we found the food places and shops. All just walking distance away. Gosh I am liking this more and more...it however, took us about 15 minutes to walk to Tanah Merah MRT station though. But there was also a bus from the train station to home.

Anyway, after our walk, and after taking the train home, I called our agent to tell him that we will put in an offer and he will speak with the owner tomorrow. Now I am nervous about the seller not accepting it because we decided to start on the low side first. But let's keep our fingers and eyes crossed. Worst that will happen would be the owner would counter offer.
